At-a-Glance 👀

As a spatial graphic designer, I developed the initial version of 4 pillar posters and 1 large-scaled background wall content for an underground parking lot for Zhida Technology, in collaboration with Alipay, Ant Group. I also explored user behaviors to enhance the overall experience, considering aspects such as how to present the wall posters to influence parking decisions, guiding users on what to do after parking (including interactions with Alipay’s new Tap-to-Pay feature and Zhida Technology’s EV-charging robot), and designing the exit process. The first round of experiments is currently underway.

Problem

Zhida Technology focuses on new energy, materials, environmental protection, and energy conservation technologies. As a leader in EV charging solutions, it supplies 24% of China’s home charging stations and collaborates with over 60 auto brands globally, including BYD, Ford, and Volkswagen, serving 50+ cities and 500+ communities.

To this end, Zhida collaborated with the Alipay Car Life team to conduct a pilot project at Ant Group’s Hangzhou headquarters parking lot, utilizing a space with three available parking spots.

Solution

As the lead designer, I focused on visual design, creating 3 distinct versions (each with 1–3 sub-variations) for each feature to encourage in-depth discussion and comparison. This approach streamlined decision-making and enhanced the overall design process by enabling iterative refinements based on feedback.
